This one-page referral sheet is for school counselors, independent educational consultants and college counseling practices who want to suggest a mentor to a family. Print it, save it as a PDF or send families this page. It explains what a Blackburn mentor does and the three steps to start: share our number, the family books a free intro call, and the student is matched.
Prints on one Letter page. Hand it to a family or keep it in your referral binder.
One-on-one mentoring and coaching
A weekly mentor for the student who knows what to do and is not doing it yet.
You set the direction. A Blackburn mentor helps the student carry out your plan across the week you do not see, and sends them back to you for anything that belongs to you. By video nationwide and in person in Los Angeles.
- Step 1Share our number
Give the family (888) 305 5422 or contact@blackburnmentoring.com. You are welcome to call first with your own questions.
- Step 2The family books a free intro call
20 minutes by video with a member of our team, weekdays 9 to 5 Pacific, at blackburnmentoring.com/intro-call.
- Step 3The student is matched
One dedicated mentor within 2 business days. With written permission, the mentor shares progress with you.

- High school students, with a parent or guardian involved
- College students, including students on probation or returning from leave
